Research activities: theoretical and experimental, in sub-nuclear physics, nuclear and antiparticle fields are done in collaboration with the World University and Industries.

The Institute promotes to share its competences, methodologies and technical instrumentation to give advantage in others research fields like medicine, environment..

INFN was founded in 1951 to carry on and develop the scientific heritage in theoretical and experimental nuclear physics initiated by Enrico Fermi and his school.
